Sharing life stories over video: a new way to ease the burden of cancer care

NCT ID NCT05200572

Summary

This study tested whether a telehealth program, where older patients with advanced cancer and their caregivers share life stories together, is practical and acceptable. Researchers worked with 19 patient-caregiver pairs to see if this 'dyadic life review' could improve emotional well-being, reduce stress, and strengthen their relationship. The main goal was to see if people would join, complete, and find value in the program, not to prove it was a cure.
