Can a video call help brain cancer patients plan their final wishes?

NCT ID NCT04543201

Summary

This study is testing whether an early telehealth visit can help patients newly diagnosed with a fast-growing brain tumor discuss and document their end-of-life care wishes. The goal is to see if this structured conversation, done soon after diagnosis, improves the patient's experience and helps ensure their final care matches their preferences. Researchers will follow 50 patients and their families to see if the approach is practical and leads to better planning.
