VA brings exercise therapy home to help veterans walk farther with less pain
NCT ID NCT05048979
Summary
This study is testing whether a telehealth exercise program can help veterans with peripheral artery disease (PAD) walk farther with less leg pain and improve their quality of life. Researchers are providing remote exercise coaching to 73 veterans who have difficulty accessing in-person therapy, especially those in rural areas. The goal is to see if this convenient approach can reduce symptoms and help veterans stay more active.
