Nurse-Led telehealth program aims to save lives by tackling suicide risk in HIV patients

Summary
This study will test a brief telehealth counseling program delivered by nurses to people living with HIV in Tanzania who are experiencing thoughts of suicide. The goal is to see if three counseling sessions can reduce suicide risk and help people stay engaged with their HIV care. Researchers will enroll 600 participants to compare the counseling program against a simpler safety planning approach.
