Can a video game Doctor's visit work? study tests virtual arm exams for kids
NCT ID NCT06810063
Summary
This study is checking if a play-based test for arm and hand movements gives the same results when done over a video call (telehealth) as it does in person for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. 35 children, aged 2-10, will attend two visits—one in-person and one via telehealth—where they play with toys while being assessed. The main goal is to see if telehealth is a reliable way to measure arm function, which could make therapy more accessible.
