Text messages fight smoking after heart attacks
NCT ID NCT07230249
Summary
This study is testing if a 6-month support program delivered through the Telegram messaging app can help people quit smoking after they've had a heart attack. About 142 adult smokers who use Telegram will be randomly assigned to receive either the chatbot program plus standard care or just standard care. The main goal is to see if the chatbot leads to more people successfully quitting smoking for at least 30 days by the end of the program.
