First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month program delivered through the Telegram messaging app can help people quit smoking after a heart attack. About 142 adult smokers who use Telegram will be split into two groups: one gets standard advice plus a chatbot with motivational messages and craving tips, the other gets standard advice only. The main goal is to see if more people in the chatbot group stay smoke-free for at least 30 days after 6 months.
