Pre-surgery 'school' via video may cut complications after cancer surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a telehealth education program, called Surgery School, helps people prepare for lung or major abdominal cancer surgery. Participants will watch videos and talk with a clinician online before their operation. The goal is to see if this reduces breathing problems after surgery and speeds up recovery. The trial plans to enroll 515 adults across multiple sites.
