Phone calls for prevention: telehealth aims to keep At-Risk patients on track for cancer scans
NCT ID NCT05021133
Summary
This study tested a telehealth support program to help people complete their recommended annual follow-up scans for lung cancer screening. Researchers worked with patients and healthcare providers to design the program, then offered it to a small pilot group. The main goal was to see if this remote navigation approach was practical and helped more people get their follow-up scans on time.
