Video game therapy aims to heal diabetic foot sores, prevent amputations

NCT ID NCT06439667

Summary

This study is testing a new video-chat platform called 'Tele-FootX' that guides patients through foot and ankle exercises. The goal is to see if these supervised, game-like exercises can improve blood flow to the feet and help heal diabetic foot ulcers faster. It's a small, early-stage study to check if the platform is practical and acceptable for 15 participants with these wounds.
