Virtual therapy trial aims to ease mental health and blood sugar struggles for young adults with diabetes
NCT ID NCT05734313
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific type of video-delivered talk therapy, combined with reviewing continuous glucose monitor data, can help young adults with type 1 diabetes feel less anxious and depressed and improve their blood sugar control. Researchers will compare this combined approach to using glucose monitoring alone in about 94 participants over a year. The goal is to see if adding therapy leads to better mental health and diabetes management outcomes.
