New drug targets Hard-to-Treat colorectal cancer in early trial

Summary

This study tests a new drug, tegavivint, in people with metastatic colorectal cancer that has worsened after at least two prior treatments. The trial aims to find a safe dose and see if the drug shrinks tumors when used alone or with standard therapies. About 126 adults with specific gene mutations will participate.
