Summary
This study aims to understand why some teenagers develop problems with opioid painkillers after surgery. Researchers will follow 20,000 teens and a parent for a year after a major operation to identify early warning signs. The goal is to gather information that could lead to better pain management plans and screening tools to protect young patients.
