New therapy approach aims to help teens stay sober
NCT ID NCT06395467
Summary
This study is testing two different talk therapy programs to help teens and young adults (ages 14-21) who struggle with alcohol or drug use. Researchers want to see if adding 12-step program support to standard therapy works better than standard therapy alone. The study will follow 294 participants for one year to measure days of abstinence and life consequences from substance use.
