First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether involving a parent or caregiver in a brief counseling session at the doctor's office helps teenagers ages 12-17 drink less alcohol. Some teens will have a session alone, some with a parent present, and some with an online program for parents. The goal is to find the most effective way to support teens with mild alcohol problems in primary care.
