Summary

This study looked at whether using a heart ultrasound (TEE) during low-risk bypass surgery should be done routinely or only when needed. Researchers enrolled 40 adults with good heart function to compare the two approaches. The goal was to gather information to help doctors decide the best use of TEE in these surgeries.
