Summary

This study tested whether a team-based approach using continuous glucose monitors could help adults with type 1 diabetes better control their blood sugar and avoid another hospital stay after a diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) episode. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped early. The approach combined technology with support from diabetes specialists.
