Summary
This study aimed to understand why people have trouble sticking to diet and exercise plans during weight loss programs. Researchers used smartphone surveys and fitness trackers to monitor 119 adults with obesity in real-time as they tried to lose weight. The goal was to identify the immediate triggers for these slip-ups to help design better, more personalized support tools in the future.
