First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a technology-assisted program to help teenagers with moderate-to-severe asthma take their daily inhaler medication as prescribed. Seventy-two teens were randomly assigned to either the program or usual care. The program used electronic monitoring and step-by-step support to improve adherence. The goal was to see if the program could increase how often teens used their inhaler and reduce asthma symptoms.
