First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding technology-based rehab (like apps or devices) to standard physical therapy helps frail older adults recover both thinking skills and movement after hip fracture surgery. About 30 people aged 65-89 who recently had hip surgery will take part. Researchers will measure changes in balance, walking, and a brain chemical linked to healing.
