Summary

This study tests a safe, non-invasive treatment for people with disorders of consciousness after severe brain injury. It uses mild electrical pulses on specific hand acupoints (TEAS) for 14 days. The goal is to see if this can help improve awareness and responsiveness compared to a placebo. The trial will involve 160 adults aged 18-80, starting 7 to 90 days after their injury.
