Summary
This study tested whether a teaching method called 'teach-back' helps first-time mothers breastfeed more successfully and bond better with their babies. In the study, 102 new mothers either received standard breastfeeding education or education where they had to explain the information back in their own words. Researchers measured breastfeeding success, confidence, and bonding at 6 and 24 hours after birth.
