First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation method called tDCS can reduce vaping in daily e-cigarette users. Forty adults who vape nicotine daily will receive either real or fake tDCS for 10 sessions over two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in vaping frequency and cravings to see if this approach could become a new treatment for e-cigarette addiction.
