Zapping away burnout: brain stimulation trial targets stressed professors

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation method called tDCS can reduce stress and burnout in university professors. Sixty professors will receive either real tDCS or a fake version over 10 sessions in 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in stress and burnout using questionnaires right after treatment and again 5 weeks later.
