First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS to physical therapy helps stroke survivors walk better. 44 people who had a stroke at least 6 months earlier took part. The goal was to see if the combination improved walking speed and function more than therapy alone.
