First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation method called tDCS for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) who haven't gotten better with standard treatments like therapy or antidepressants. About 43 participants will receive low-level electrical current through electrodes on the scalp to see if it reduces their OCD symptoms over three months. The goal is to offer a simple, safe, and affordable option for those still struggling with severe OCD.
