Brain zaps show promise for stroke speech loss

Summary
This study tests whether a mild electrical current applied to the scalp (tDCS) can improve naming ability in people who have trouble speaking after a recent stroke. Twenty-eight adults with aphasia will receive either real or sham stimulation over five days. The goal is to see if the treatment helps them name pictures more accurately and quickly.
