Summary
This study tested whether an optimized multichannel tDCS device can better ease depression symptoms compared to standard or sham (fake) tDCS. Sixty adults with moderate-to-severe major depression received one of the three tDCS types. Researchers measured mood changes using standard depression scales and also checked thinking skills like memory and attention.
