Summary

This study looks at how traumatic brain injury (TBI) may lead to thinking problems and blood vessel damage in the brain. Researchers will follow 300 active-duty military members and veterans, measuring blood markers and thinking skills over time. The goal is to better understand the link between TBI, heart health risks, and dementia. No new treatments are being tested—this is an observation-only study.
