Summary

This research aimed to understand how intestinal parasites and malnutrition affect people being treated for tuberculosis (TB). The study followed 141 adults with active TB, testing them for parasites and tracking their weight and treatment success. Researchers compared outcomes between those who received nutritional supplements and those who did not to see if better nutrition improved recovery.
