Scientists track TB drugs in breast milk to protect moms and babies
NCT ID NCT07069582
Summary
This study aims to measure how much of five different tuberculosis (TB) prevention drugs pass into breast milk. It will enroll 60 healthy breastfeeding women in Indonesia. Each participant will receive a single dose of one drug so researchers can measure drug levels in their blood and milk. The goal is to gather safety data to include breastfeeding women in future TB prevention trials.
