NCT ID NCT07257107

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle electrical stimulation on the ear (taVNS) combined with robot-assisted arm training can improve arm and hand function in people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago. 30 adults with moderate to severe arm weakness will receive either real or sham stimulation plus robot training for 5 weeks. The goal is to see if this combo boosts motor recovery and daily living skills better than robot training alone.
