First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested whether a mild nerve stimulation device placed on the ear (taVNS) could help people with fibromyalgia feel better and exercise more. 90 adults were split into three groups: one-sided stimulation, two-sided stimulation, or just a home exercise program. After two weeks of treatment, researchers measured pain, anxiety, sleep, and how many reps they could do.
