First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026
Summary
This study tests a safe, non-invasive device that sends mild electrical pulses through the ear to stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps control pain and stress. Researchers want to see if this treatment is practical and helpful for 40 people with chronic whiplash (lasting 3 months to 10 years). The goal is to reduce neck pain, disability, and related stress without serious side effects.
