Summary
This study compares two types of replacement heart valves used in a procedure called TAVI for people with a narrowed aortic valve. About 1,960 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a balloon-expandable or self-expanding valve. The goal is to see which design leads to fewer deaths or disabling strokes within the first year.
