Heart doctors test timing of valve and artery fixes

NCT ID NCT04310046

Summary

This study aims to find the safest order for two common heart procedures. It compares performing a procedure to open blocked heart arteries either before or after a minimally invasive valve replacement in patients who need both. The goal is to see which timing leads to fewer complications like heart attacks, bleeding, or hospital readmissions.
