NCT ID NCT07052071

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether fixing a narrowed heart valve with a procedure called TAVI can improve the balance of bacteria in the gut. Researchers will collect stool and blood samples from 40 patients before and after the procedure to see if better blood flow changes the gut microbiome. The goal is to understand the link between heart health and gut health, which could lead to new treatments.
