Scientists scan brains to predict future memory loss
NCT ID NCT03372317
Summary
This study uses a new type of brain scan to look for a protein called tau in older adults. Researchers want to see how much tau is in the brain and if it relates to changes in memory, thinking, and brain activity. The goal is to better understand how tau might contribute to future memory decline, but this is an observational study and does not test a treatment.
