Phone calls help stroke caregivers cope and thrive

Summary
This study tests a program where nurses call family caregivers of stroke survivors to teach them skills for managing care and their own health. About 332 caregivers will take part in nine phone sessions and five interviews over a year. The goal is to see if this support improves caregivers' well-being and reduces stress.
