Phone-Based coaching eases burden for stroke caregivers

Summary
This study tests a program that helps family caregivers of stroke survivors learn skills to manage care and reduce stress. About 332 caregivers will receive nine nurse-led phone calls over several months. The goal is to improve caregivers' well-being and reduce depression.
