First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a chemotherapy pill (TAS-102) combined with targeted radiation for people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. The goal was to find the safest dose and see how well the combination controls tumor growth. About 52 adults with 1 to 4 liver tumors took part. The approach aims to manage the disease and improve local control, but it is not a cure.
