Summary
This study looked at whether taking powdered tart cherries helps trained men and women recover from repeated sprints. Forty healthy, active adults did intense sprinting exercises and then took either tart cherry powder or a placebo. Researchers measured muscle soreness, power, inflammation, and markers of muscle damage to see if the cherry powder improved recovery.
