Summary
This study tested whether a powdered tart cherry supplement could help trained athletes recover better after repeated sprinting sessions. Researchers measured muscle soreness, strength, power, and markers of inflammation in 40 healthy, active men and women. Participants took either the cherry powder or a placebo to see if it improved their recovery compared to not taking it.
