Summary

This study tests whether a tart cherry citrate tablet can lower uric acid levels in people who have high uric acid but no gout symptoms. About 196 adults will take either the active tablet or a placebo twice daily for 24 weeks, along with lifestyle advice. The main goal is to see if the cherry tablet reduces uric acid more than the placebo.
