New hope for lung cancer patients with brain spread: promising drug enters specialized trial

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug tarlatamab can shrink or control cancer that has spread to the brain in people with small cell lung cancer. It will involve about 34 patients whose brain tumors are not causing symptoms and who have already tried standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see how well the drug works specifically against the cancer in the brain.
