Doctors test 'Sharpshooter' radiation to zap returning prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT05328505
Summary
This study is testing a new, more precise way to deliver radiation when prostate cancer returns after surgery. Using a special scan to pinpoint exactly where the cancer has come back, doctors will give a stronger radiation dose to those spots and a lower dose to healthy areas. The goal is to better control the cancer while trying to reduce side effects like urinary problems.
