Precision radiation zaps returning prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT04645810

Summary

This study aimed to test a precise, high-dose radiation treatment for prostate cancer that returns only in the prostate after initial radiation therapy. It planned to treat only the visible tumor spots, not the whole prostate, to see if this controlled the cancer and was safe. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
