Summary
This study is testing whether using special imaging to guide radiation treatment to only the affected side of the neck works as well as treating both sides for patients with throat cancer that hasn't spread across the midline. Researchers want to see if this more targeted approach controls the cancer equally while reducing side effects like dry mouth and swallowing problems. The trial will involve 510 patients and compare quality of life and cancer control between the two approaches.
