First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (TAP and QLB) to manage pain after open inguinal hernia repair. 70 adults aged 18-65 will receive one of the blocks before surgery, and their pain levels and need for extra painkillers will be tracked for 24 hours. The goal is to see which block provides better pain relief and reduces opioid use.
