Summary

This study looked at 200 people having surgery for colon or rectal cancer or diverticulitis. It compared two pain relief methods: a TAP block (injection into the belly wall) and epidural anesthesia (injection near the spine). The goal was to see which one worked better for controlling pain after surgery and improving patient comfort.
